This progressive Club was
founded in 1964 with the aims of providing a medium for Samoyed Fanciers nationwide to
collectively better the Samoyed breed; to promote the owners; to collect and
disseminate beneficial information amongst the membership; and to maintain a Hip Dysplasia
certification registry in collaboration with the Ontario Veterinary College.
We offer a
quarterly publication, "Sammy News",
as well as the "Register of Merit Canada
(ROMC)", an
annual National Specialty Show and are officially
recognized by the Canadian Kennel Club
(CKC) as the National Parent Club for
Samoyeds in Canada. |

All
Members, Associate or Full, are encouraged to comment, suggest and criticize
(constructively). Associate Memberships are open to persons living outside Canada or to
Canadians who do not own a Registered Samoyed, and also to Juniors (under 16 years of
age). Only Full Members are entitled to Vote, but all are invited to comment, contribute,
etc. Prospective Members names must be published in the Bulletin before their Applications
for Membership will be accepted. All Club business is conducted by mail *(regular or
electronic)* and/or through *Sammy News.*
Membership dues range from $20 to $25 per year ($12 for Juniors)
depending on type of membership - individual, family, associate (foreign).
Our membership presently is made up of Sammy
people from Canada, U.S., England, Australia, New Zealand, Holland. We welcome anyone who
has a love for this breed, whether a breeder, exhibitor, judge, pet owner or your interest
